Ian Thigpen is a board member of Word of Life 360 and lives in Helena Montana with his wife Julie where they serve and teach the Word of God faithfully. Julie is one of our musical performers at the Montana Christian Festival.
Ian holds the rank of Sergeant First Class positioned as the Public Health NCO and Civil-Military Operations Center NCOIC with A Company / 405th Tactical Civil Affairs Battalion in the US Army Reserve.
He also works as an Emergency Management Specialist at the Montana Department of Health and Human Services. He is an Alpine Patroller and Outdoor Emergency Care Instructor with Great Divide Volunteer Ski Patrol and National Ski Patrol. In their spare time, Ian and Julie love hiking, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors. We are excited to have him as a teacher for this event!
Teaching Topic: The Witness of the Land and Seas
When we focus on the the Land and Seas that God created, we will unpack the Biblical themes of Harmony and Light from Heaven to Earth, and the Chaos and Darkness of the Seas. We will also explore how these themes apply to us in our daily Christian walk.
